Pre-wedding/ engagement photo session at Daisy Nook Country Park, Manchester

I was fortunate to photograph Louise and Leanne engagement session on warm and sunny Saturday at beginning of April. Typically, Daisy Nook is packed with people on nice weekend. To avoid the crowd, we scheduled a late afternoon engagement session and we were able to find some peace and quiet so that Louise and Leanne could relax and enjoy each other.

Daisy Nook is a country park with woodland, canals, river, picnic sites, bird watching and fishing located in Failsworth, Ashton-under-Lyne.

Families can have a fun-packed day in the countryside with two fantastic play areas set amongst 40 hectares of woodlands, meadows, waterways and a lake. My son love this park!

The area is so famous that the great artist LS Lowry even came here and his paintings of his visits Crime Lake and Good Friday, Daisy Nook have been sold for some very high prices (almost £4million for Good Friday, Daisy Nook!).

After spending a few minutes with Leanne and Louise, you can tell that they are soulmates and a perfect match. The love and support they have for one another is so beautiful.

I am beyond excited to be the storyteller on their wedding day. Please stay tuned for their wedding photographs this summer. They will be tying the knot and throwing a lovely reception at The Peacock Room Restaurant in Bamford, Rochdale
